Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Nairobi – Nguruman

    Depart Nairobi and drive to Nguruman, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Begin your journey with: Cultural introduction to Maasai guides Short acclimatization walk Dinner and overnight at camp.

  2. Day 2

    Nguruman – Njoroi

    Start trekking early through Maasai land, crossing rivers and open landscapes. Duration: 4–6 hours Cultural Experience: Interaction with Maasai herders Learning about livestock and pastoral lifestyle Dinner and overnight at camp.

  3. Day 3

    Njoroi – Enkutoto

    Trek along the Entosopia River, crossing it multiple times and exploring lush landscapes. Duration: 5–6 hours Cultural Experience: Visit Maasai homesteads Learn about traditional housing and family structure Dinner and overnight at camp.

  4. Day 4

    Enkutoto – Morinjo

    Walk through one of the last remaining indigenous forests in East Africa. Duration: 5–6 hours Cultural Experience: Forest use by Maasai communities Traditional medicinal plants and practices Dinner and overnight at camp.

  5. Day 5

    Morinjo – Litukunyi via Ndarara

    Trek through open landscapes with wildlife sightings including antelopes, monkeys, and birds. If timing allows: Visit Narosora town market (Maasai market day) Interact freely with Maasai traders Duration: 6–7 hours Dinner and overnight at camp.

  6. Day 6

    Litukunyi – Maji Moto
