Day 1
Rongai Gate to First Cave
Drive from Moshi to the Rongai Gate, trek through forest to First Cave Camp at ~2,600m.

Day 2
To Kikelewa Camp
Trek past the second cave into the moorland to Kikelewa Camp at 3,600m.

Day 3
Mawenzi Tarn
Short steep climb to Mawenzi Tarn at 4,330m, beneath the jagged Mawenzi peak.

Across the Saddle
Cross the high alpine Saddle to Kibo Hut at 4,700m — rest before the summit push.

Day 5
Summit Uhuru & Down to Horombo
Pre-midnight start, reach Gilman's Point at dawn, continue to Uhuru Peak, then descend to Horombo Camp.

Day 6
Descend to Marangu Gate
Final descent through the moorland to Marangu Gate and transfer back to Moshi.
